Product information
1. Introduction
Recycled Polyester Yarn (rPET) is currently the "star" of the global sustainable textile industry. Utilizing this fiber not only minimizes plastic waste but also reinforces the commitment of modern fashion brands to environmental protection. rPET is produced from post-consumer plastic waste, most commonly PET plastic bottles (mineral water and soft drink bottles). Instead of taking hundreds of years to decompose in the environment, these bottles are collected, cleaned, crushed into flakes, and melted to create new fibers. This process helps reduce CO2 emissions by up to 75% compared to producing virgin polyester from petroleum.

2. Composition and Structure
Chemical Composition: 100% Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET).
Fiber Production Process: There are two main methods: Mechanical recycling (grinding and melting) and Chemical recycling (breaking down polymers into monomers and then re-polymerizing them).
Certifications: To ensure transparency, rPET yarn is typically accompanied by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification.

3. Key Characteristics
Sustainability: Reduces the consumption of energy and non-renewable resources (petroleum).
Equivalent Quality: With modern technology, rPET yarn possesses durability, elasticity, and heat resistance that are on par with Virgin Polyester.
Excellent Dyeability: Easily absorbs dyes, resulting in vibrant and long-lasting colors.
Technical Properties: Quick-drying, wrinkle-resistant, anti-shrinkage, and effective mold resistance.
